The global leader in teaching the creative process from imagination to innovation

Who They Are

Since 1999, DI has impacted more than a million participants. About 125,000 youth make friends and learn the creative process through our programs every year, and 38,000 volunteers support us!

What They Do

Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization. Their purpose is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders.

Proven Results

Researchers reported, “Students who participated in DI outperformed comparable students who had not participated in DI on assessments measuring creative thinking, critical thinking and collaborative problem solving.”

ITS NOT JUST FOR THE KIDS

Parents May Become a Team Manager
The number of teams for Dennison will depend on the number of parents and/or teachers who volunteer for Team Managers.

Dennison DI is run by volunteers. We need Team Managers as well as Appraisers to assist with the regional tournament.
Getting More Interested?
Teams will form in two categories—competitive and non-competitive teams. The non-competitive teams are for younger kids (ages K-2nd.) The older kids will be grouped together in similar age categories and compete at the regional competition. Teams that are successful there, will compete in the State competition.

Teams typically meet once a week. Meeting times can be morning or afternoon, based on Team Manager availability. Teams start meeting in October and continue through March.

TRAINING CALENDAR AND EVENTS

Team manager training is free and happens in October, November, December and January. Click here to see the DI Official Calendar
